About the fuel tank size, it's listed at 48 liters in the catalog and I converted that to 12.6 gallons. So is it a 10 gallon tank or a 12.6 gallon tank

It's a 12.6 gallon or close to it.
The neon has a 12.5 gallon tank.

Actually, on a full tank of gas, the Evo can get about 300 miles max if you shift at 2k rpm and keep below going over 3k rpm

Thats pretty good gas milage on a tubocharged all wheel drive. It will be a pretty close comparison to the Sti if the doesn't have an active dif. Plus the shifter on the Sti has been getting a lot of compliments. But the Sti will have a higher price tag.

Reason for the confusion about how many gallons is because it is 10.5 Imperial gallons or 12.6 US gallons.

In terms of fuel consumption, a tank will last, on average, 200 miles, depending on driving style. On a track that would drop to 100 miles or less. The low fuel warning light will come on somewhere between 150 and 170 miles. On average, I refuel about every 180 miles.

agree... dont really care for 6 speed... but instead the gear
ratios...
My M3 only has 240hp but with agressive gear ratios.. (5th is 1:1 which
is the 4th gear for most cars)... it pulls hard in almost any gear..

Everyone's saying something different, I'll just go with what they say on the Mitsubishi site for now, and we'll see if anything happens when the time comes (I'm talking about specs)... Patience...
