They had problems with the Subaru crowd when they started also.

I ordered a simple cheap antenna from vivid after a week when I had not recieved it I called them. They told me it was on back order. Understandable, while on the phone I ordered some ralliart pedals. Another two weeks go bye, still nothing. Everything was billed the day I ordered it. Several phone calls and e-mails later they say I should have it tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath and I'm not ordering from them again.

Took me three weeks to get an RMR intake from them. Many many emails, two phone calls, finally threatened to dispute the charge got a reply. Then it was supposed to ship on Friday 2nd day, yet arrived on the following Thursday, without the promised emailed/phoned tracking number. I am not impressed with them, and will take my business elsewhere.

Of course they had charged me immediately upon placing the order...

The strange part is that I tried to order UD pulleys through Vivid before for my Subaru. A week later I still had no shipping number. So I cancel the order and order the same thing through Kastles Korner and they shipped the next day. When the damn thing shows up I find out it was a deal offered through Kastles Korner but the place who was actually selling the UD pulleys was Vivid. Sad I had to go through a middle man to get the parts. Not only did I get them cheaper through Kastles Korner but I also got them faster.

Also if a place called CC-B starts offering parts skip them also. It took 4 months before I got my Subaru parts and when they arrived they sent the wrong damn kit. They sent side skirts for a 4dr not a 2dr. I was promised some vents to make up for the delay and never saw them. To top it off I was told there was a shipping delay so the parts could be boxed up. When they arrived they were simply wrapped in bubble wrap and had a shipping label slapped on them.

What I really like is when websites like Lancer Shop show a little thing next to the item that says if it's in stock or not. That makes it really cool so atleast you know if it will take a while to get there. Vivid doesn't answer there phones, and still hasn't responded to my email which I sent them last week. Thats pretty lame if you ask me. The number one thing in a buisness is customer service. If I were them I would email a tracking number to every customer as soon as it got shipped. As soon as I finish my website thats what I will be doing. I will be emailing all my customers tracking numbers the day it gets shipped and I will not charge them either until it is shipped. Thats rediculous. Those fat cats are probably out spending my money since they already charged me and now I am the one who has to wait forever to get what I ordered.

Speed Concepts has most of the turbo timers in stock and they have pretty good prices. I bought my Blitz there.

I WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH VIVID RACING AGAIN.
I ordered RMR intake, Forge DV POLISHED, Carbon Fiber Front lip.

1. The package comes in THREE WEEKS later than promised.
2. CHARGES CREDIT CARD AS SOON AS THEY HANG UP THE PHONE!
3. DOES NOT CARE about customor support but only cares to sell.
4. SENDS WRONG ITEMS(ordered polished DV, but got black DV)
5. I even ended up cancelling the order on the carbon lip cause they were keep comming up with some BS trying to pretend and lie, "OH we are getting them in stock tomarrow~" going like this for weeks.

Never seen any vendor like this in my life. PLease people save money, time and patience and not deal with them.
THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY BUSINESS MIND. BAD BAD BUSINESS TWO THUMBS DOWN.

Man you guys juts don't get it .....

They are a small shop with probably only a few employees. How on earth do you expect them to stock everything that they advertise? They can't afford $100,000 forecasting software. 90% of those items are probably C movers.

When they call the vendor, they probably get the same runaround you do. The vendors probably tell them 2 weeks and deliver in 2 months.

This is a damn small market ... and most of the parts on their website probably move low single digits each year. You can have what you don't want when you want it, or you can have what you want when you don't want it. The small companies that tie all their money up in slow moving inventory and end up fire selling it for 50c on the dollar will be out of business pretty soon.

It ain't easy runnin a small business, and there is never going to be an Amazon.com of the import world.

They are going to hit and miss on those time estimates more often then not. It's too small of a market to be even remotely accurate with forecasting, even less so with your thumb in the wind.

You all need to be a little patient and give them a break. I figure that as long as you get your product ... you're doing pretty good ... I still have not seen anyone say that they did not get what they paid for ... regardless of time.

I used to sell parts ... so I know ... I once waited 10 mos for a set of Nismo wheels from Mackin ... they had told me 2 mos ... just regurgitatung what the vendor says often ain't good enough for the customer.... some customers are just better to avoid ...

having been there ... I understand the wait now ... i expect it .... I usually order the C mover type of parts, but even turbo timers can get out of stock
