replacing factory PUSH FAN with slim fan??????

here is the story. i had the inside '' pull'' and outside ''push'' fans on the car. when i got my turbo kit i removed the pull type fan from the car. i had zero over heating issues..... so about 1 month later being stupid i removed the push type fan too. well the f'er over heats mega fast unless your moving. so i put the push type fan back on the car. my problems where solved..

next thing i did was i removed my hole a/c unit out of the car and kept the push type fan on the car. i had a CBRD radiator installed with a new 12inch pull type fan mounted to the rad. so now i would like to replace the push type fan with a slim fan for a few reasons. 1. its heavy as hell and a slim fan will cut at least 5lbs.... 2. a 12inch slim fan has higher cfm and will cool better over the factory one. .....

my problem is i dont know how to wire it up to make it work and go on and off like the factory push fan did. the pull type is fine as everyone know's. but i dont here of many or any replacing the push type fan.. so wiring it up is no where to be found. can anyone help???? thanks alot

o and befor anyone says or asks.

no i do not want to remove the push fan. i will not just take it off. this is why i made this thread

no i will nto wire it into the other fan. each fan comes on at a different level. i beleave the pull fan comes on 1st. then if the car needs more cooling the push fan kicks on. i want to keep it this way.

When I put in my new radiator and pull fan, I just wired the 2 wires from the new fan to the 2 wires the stock fan was connected too. When I saw it was pushing instead of pulling, I just flipped the wires around and it went the right way.

It's not that hard to wire up the fans. The easiest way is to cut the stock connectors from the stock fans and use those connectors to wire up the slim fans. When you wire them up just match the color of the wires. Make sure to test them first before you mount the fans on the radiator.

+1...make sure that they're spinning the correct direction (polarity)and that the blades are flipped the right direction also.....you may be able to use t-taps also to make it easier.

I don't think I'm confused, I think I just needed to explain things that I thought were implied. Looks like others did that before I checked back though so good luck I used quick connects, but t-taps would work just as well
