i might be retarded...

so i just spent like a good 20 minutes or so searching and cant find anything to answer my ? about installing uicp. maybe im retarded...but i cudnt find it. all i wanna know is if you need to take the front bumper off...or if just taking off the plastic undertray will be fine to get it on.

I have my tray off, and it looks like you should be able to get to it pretty easily from underneath the car. Same goes for the licp.

Its easier with the bumper off, just to navigate but yep..you're retarded.

Wait, wait...that didn't go together right. :-)


Just kidding-you can do it very easily, either way. Save yourself the trouble and leave the bumper alone.

take the bumper off and make sure u tight that uicp good so u don't have to do it again in the middle of nowhere

UICP and LICP can be done with the bumper on, easily.

Unless your clamps are situated so that you can't get them off easily with the bumper on....

+1 on taking the bumper off.It is a lot easier to take the stock UICP out and makes it a whole lot easier to install the new one.

no need to take the bumper off, just remove the undertray and you'll be fine
