Do you guys think insurance will be cheaper if I register the vehicle in Boston or on Long Island?

just switched to progressive from geico with 2 cars: $560 for 6 months/ $500 deductable (36 clean record)
geico wanted over $1000 for both (one of them liability only)

I'm told its because progressive's underwritters score the evo like a regular lancer.

I was paying $215 a month to GEICO for my Evo(full coverage) and a 97 montero(liability). I turned 25 recently and called GEICO to ask how much my payments would drop for being 25. I was told that for my location I wouldn't see any drops until I was 29. I got a quote from USAA and now pay them $119 a month.

27 with roughly 10 tickets in ten years, no accidents. only 1 ticket in four years though.

$180 a month with an 03 sentra specv, 03 evo, and 05 beetle convertible . $500 deductible on all of them, full converage. only the sentra is fully paid for. progressive is the shizz, but not in florida. they wanted 3 times the amount for the evo in florida, now I live in ga. geico was a bit pricer, too.

That's because Florida is one of the most expensive states in terms of insurance, mostly because of all of the fraud that goes on there (which is why some companies stay away from certain counties completely). Tennessee isn't so bad.

How bad is your insurance rate??!!

I have never had a moving violation, I get all the discounts I can, and I just got the card for my new GSR...I was hoping it would be decently priced. I thought that because these were 4 door and "small" engine it would not be bad...but my wife is screaming at me as we speak....this whole "owning an x is like dating a supermodel" is no kidding. 835 bones every 6 mos?? WTF?
