First off i'm only 21, 2 accidents on record (both 20 % my fault due to new york law) and im in LI, NY. I wouldve paid 475 per month with allstate, 380 per month with Geico, but then found nationwide to be 306. All the other companies i tried were between allstate and geico.

I switched from progressive(on my dad's policy at the time) and was paying $1100/full every 6month for a 04 325xi to Geico and now im paying $440/full every 6month on my own policy. And it's gonna go down 70 bucks in july because I'll of had my license for 3 years. And if I take a defensive driving course they'll lower it another $37. I couldnt believe it. I got quoted for a s2000 just for yucks and it was 107 a month.

I've been looking for an evo but people saying they got dropped from Geico worries me a little bit. The whole 25yo thing is myth from what reps tell me at least here in upstate,ny. I'll be 22 in May. I can't imagine the insurance would spike that much more than an s2000? Progressive wants 300 a month.

What do you guys think would happen?

I finally got my insurance bill for just my Evo, and it's $175/month. I love paying $550/month on a car that sits in my garage

Ordered a 2012 GSR, should be here in another week. 30, Military, clean record for over ten years and USAA is still quoting at $330 a month, can't afford to go anywhere else since both my homes are insured with them and I am receiving package discounts..... Oh well definitely worth it!

It depends on where you are, they are one of the companies I work with. Their rates usually aren't competitive, unless you have a really bad record (when other companies won't want to insure you anyway), and even in that situation, you'd be with Bristol West/Foremost Insurance (owned by Farmers and typically accessible to most Farmers agents). But with insurance being so broad, I'm sure that there are people who would disagree with me.
