this type of crap sucks and it happens all the time. i go to school in Hartford CT and i came out to my car one day just to see muddy boot prints walking up my hood, windshield and roof. looks like he had some sort of studs or rocks stuck in it too because he got some nice chips on the hood. as well as a small crease by the washer nozzle. there lucky that i didn't see them do it, because i wouldn't have thought twice about ending them right there with out any problems, they wouldn't have even known what hit them.

oh and +1 for people not knowing what an evo is and asking if it s a Subaru. i actually had someone tell me hey man go blow some reverse donuts you got that Subaru all wheel drive. i was VERY disappointed in them lol

 

is your evo flat black, with red rims on it maybe?? i was in old town over the summer on vacation and i saw this car and was like hey i have one of those!!!

and i get tons of negative attention, mostly from younger people with something to prove that drive muscles, civics or more expensive bmws, and any hard *** in between that 1. doesnt know how to drive , and 2. couldnt keep up any ways, they really are just dissatisfied with their own car. i get the finger alot, and people purposefully blowing by me only to be right next to me at the next stop light which can get pretty awkward, just generally rude and jealous behavior. Most of the more mature older guys that know anything about cars will compliment me on it though, i actually got my uncle to admit that it could keep up with his C5 easily. i also keep it really really clean which the older guys seem impressed about.

 

some old guy in a camry pulled up to me and told me i had a car that does a lot of harm to the environment. ahaha. i was gonna tell him to **** off and that he was gonna die before the environment really realy mattered anyways

 

i love when people pull up next to me in my car. young kids in there parents BMW m3s and mercedes benz and ****. and then i jus take off n they finally catch up and say. WHAT IS IN THAT THING. and then i jus laugh n take off again

 

I dont even pay attention to that anymore Ive been dealing with it for a few years now.

As for the M3 and Civic drivers I let them pass and laugh

 

I had someone at work ask me if that was my purple subaru outside. I get alot of subaru comments probly cuz I drive a blue evo, and most STIs are blue.

This is an 89 honda how dare you! hahahaha

 

don't worry, i get it all the time too. there are some nice people out there thou, i got this Subaru wagon that always waves to me when we pass each other and i don't even know him. just this morning when i was waiting to pull out of this parking lot, this green ricer civic saw me and reved at me.. g@yness. just ignore them, their bunch of idiots.

 

i dont get too much attention...mostly looks not too much revving...guess cuz i took the wing off..

 

People that know cars, know evos, girls and rich guys dont know evos lol. Most muscle car owners who give thumbs down are jealous because they actually know what you have. I know plenty of girls who love my car more than my truck (2006 Dodge ram 2500 thunder road, lifted, beautiful rims). They love the speed part even more. Im in college and every guy on campus knows what it is pretty much when they see me roll by they all stare in awe lol.

 

i would say just ignore them. What do you expect from stupid people? I always laugh at them, and this is the most damage you can do with them. You know the BIG american ego...First, it is hard to start laughing ,but when you see they face, it is getting easyer and easyer.
you don't need to prove them anything . They know you are fast. Those guys need, or at least they feel they need to prove something.

 

i thought that i would get a lot more of that, especially in vegas. no one has really tried to race me except some blacked out charger the other day, he just gave me thumbs up when he finally caught up that sucks about the keying though...

 

i always hear "rice" when i drive through the school parking lot with my windows down and at stop lights i get morons revving their mustangs and sometimes bikes. once i even had some honda? car revving at me on the highway in rush hour traffic

Sorry to read about the bad experiences, man. I have had neither positive or negative. I get mostly the "when did you get the Subaru?" question. I don't even correct them anymore....I just go with it.

As for the musclecars, they don't mess around much. Most musclecar owners should know the outcome...their heavy cars being either smoked or fried, ha-ha. Oh, and I am 35 btw, and I still love stirring it up with punks every once in a while.

 

See where i am, my car is like loved, south florida, a lot of rich kids but they know their cars and know what i drive. No one really owns muscle cars here, mostly bmws, lexus, and nicer cars, btu they definitly have respect for my evo.
