Molding on roof

if anyone can help or recommend a solution......i have a 2006 EB GSR and every couple of days i notice that the black molding along the roof comes loose and elevated from the rest of the car. does anyone have a fix for this problem, its just really starting to annoy me.

You likley have a broken clip in the channel. You can get replacement clips from Mitsu or use some silcone

your white plastic clips might be broken...thats a dealer part. or you could just super glue them down

Those things are a ***** to replace.

I would suggest a dealership. I've gotta have mine done.

I wouldn't recommend that - too likely to trap moisture and cause corrosion problems. Have a reputable dealer replace appropriate clips.

Just silicone the broken part of the clip not the whole molding down

I still wouldn't recommend silicone - the amount needed to hold a small portion of the molding down can interfere with the drainage and air circulation under the molding, and end up causing problems. Go with the clip replacement and do it right.
