It turns out I will be saving alot with bolt ons and my stock engine...And I Will be getting High mid 11's...Thats cool, I asked for Sub 11's *Sorry for the confusion, Sub 11's meaning anything under 11 no matter what it is.... Running stock engine risk chances of blowing it...No?

Im not looking for an 11 Second car I have a low 12 second one.

Plus whats the point of having an 11 second car when well over 10000 people have that same car running the same time as you do!?!? And there are 250000+ more people running a different car that possibly payd half as less as you did that are running the same time as you do?!?!?

Believe me I knew I was paying nearly 40000 dollars for the car and about 10000 in insurance....WTF!!! Is another 15000 to make my car one out 50000 other cars that go fast? For 39k I want that car to run so fast if I where to start someone halfway from the finish the whooping they recieve is so tremendous that the next time they see my Evo they will be ****ting Horsepower!

You guys may be fine with your 11-12 seconds and thats fast..But the guy in the Civic or Mustang that payd no where near what you payd is beating your *** ferociously im not gonna be the one to read your thread on why your $40000 car got beat by a $2000 Civic with $10000 in mods....

I want to thank those of you who helped me..I will be keeping your information in mind...And I think I have got all the information that I need..

Ima run the 2.3L with the gt35..I might even do the gt42 because nothing says overkill like a 10 second evo. Lol, AND, Im prolly gonna put my Evo engine in my CIVIC!!! ROFL!!! Just in spite of the fact that some of you guys are real jerks and I'll be looking foward to run my civic against someones $30000 when im done with it. lol (On the track that is)

I keep you guys posted, Thanks a bunch

Relax buddy....this type of stuff has been discussed COUNTLESS times over the last 5 years!! In fact I would say at least once a day over that period...lol!

And, I don't know how you do math. I'm an accountant and I didn't understand a darn thing. Besides, it's not always about the $$$. It's about doing what you can with what you got. If you've got alot to blow, fine. But not everyone does. That doesn't mean they can't have just as much fun.

If you want to try and build the fastest car for the cheapest, then that's a whole other discussion. Actually, I don't know what you're trying to talk about anymore. I'll let it up to everyone else to figure out.....GL

I still think would still lose to some cars that ran 10's and low 11's if you went with a GT42R just because of the lag. In most street races the cars you would run would be gone and you would be playing catch up, by the time you caught up to them the race would be over, not a lot of races start from a dig.... Just a thought

Lol, This car isnt gonna be used for illegal racing...I frown upon illegal racing, Lol, ... I just want to take it out like a couple times a month during the summer and beat someone down from a roll while having fun. I am aware of the bigger turbo more lag effect... But not being used for illegal racing, I have to many points as it is...

Guess I over reacted. Sorry Guys...Im still going with the 2.3L and GT42 and the Evo9mr Civic, Lol, Civic is gonna be bad ***...

Ams fully built motor is around 7,0000 and gt42 is about 7,000 also...

Question would it be cheaper to build my own 2.3l thats just as good?

If all you're looking to do is straight line race and go fast for cheap then get a mustang. To each their own but getting an awd-rally car to go in a straight line? . Yes there are cars that are equally as fast in a quarter mile that can hang with your Evo, but where are they going to be in the turns? The rear view mirror. Utilize your car for its intended purpose!

There will always be someone faster than you. Simply answered.

Seriously, go get a bike. Pay 9k for a bike and spank everything. It sounds like all you want to do is go in a straight line. And you payed for an Evo, not a civic..no matter how much faster some B16 twin turbo gutted civic is....he is still a civic. Not a street legal rally car. I'll join the ranks of the 'real jerks' on here and tell you to go buy a civic and put a big wing on it from Pep boys and nos stickers. You have an Evo, you should be happy that you can even say that. Relax with all the E-thuggin 1/4 mile times. It's all crap, have fun with your car and rail some canyons or cones with it.

1. No point in getting a bike when winter and fall role around I cant use it. plus im scarred of falling ive seen some nasty bike wrecks.
2. I got a mustang.
3. Theres not to many turns to hit on the parkway. I mean I would try the rally but "to each his own" and im not into one...

Maybe i will try it though before i mod it out. Thanks for keeping it real.

if u must get a 42r go with the 2.0 instead of the stroker....im sure you will get a lot more usable power out of the extra couple thousand rpms u can rev with rather than than spooling a few hundred rpms sooner.
