Has anyone heard any rumors of the VIII coming to the US? Is there any rumor of a 6 speed tranny??? Anybody?? I'd really like to know anythinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.

Did you make ANY attempt to look at the 4-5 other new threads in here about the new EVO?

 

Easy pal...yeah we've had our fair share of Evo VIII rumors hit the mill here. Running a search for "VIII" on the board may be the easiest way or just go sifting through the Evo Rumor forum.

So far, the only really different things I've heard about an Evo VIII would be it'd possibly be 2 doors, 6 speed, and use a new GDI engine. Who knows...I know the Evo could probably benefit from variable valve timing to though...so yeah...take a peek!

I know everyone is pretty sick of the rumor mill, but I JUST got off the phone with the Business Development Center Manager at our local Mitsu dealer. He is pretty hardcore into the import tuner market.

I am just passing along the info he told me. And obviously can't verify anything. He seemed pretty confident in this info.
