Exclamation RPM holds @ 4K after boost and slowly gose down in N.

Stock IX engine & turbo with a Apexi digital boost controler.
Was driving to Friend's garage. Boosted down the straight to friend's garage and let off, put in "N" but engine held at 4K RPM and very slowly went down to idle.

Got any idea's what was causing this malfunction?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Its called throttle hang. Its an emissions thing in the ECU. Or at least thats how a tech described it to me. Holds the RPMs to "clean" the air - basically to air out the fuel.

When it happens just push the clutch in once more and it will turn off.

It can also be cured with a tweak of the ECU. Get in contact with TTP and they can fix it for you.
