Crashed My IX tonight (i hate snow)
lost control of the evo tonight on my way home in the snow, i have crappy tires no the car so i had no hope, slid for about 75 feet, and then went into a huge ditch, car didnt look bad when the tow truck pulled it out, but when i got home, it looks liek from what i can see at night, the fron bumper, the front lip, the right headlight, . I can not really see anything else so im not to sure but i landed on some rocks, hopefully my new AMS turboback is ok, this really sucks
UPDATED INFO
took the car for a ride today guys, feels mint which is a good thing, went to the body shop, probably gonna be doing a SE lip and AMS front mount, bad things happen for good reasons i guess, insurance is lookin at it on monday or tuesday at ultimate-cc. from the looks of it it should be just fine and this was just my wake up call to either put it away or buy some snow tires. the radiator support didnt bend so its just bolt on crap...either way im going through insurance and it should be fixed soon....just wanted to let u guys know that it still runs and drives fine so thats good news....more info and pics to come soon.

if u look at the car it just looks like a messed upbumper on the bottom near the lip, just look like stuff bent, like the intercooler and things like that, def. not a total, no where near it
yeah the roads are nasty out tonite it's all ice. I just got home from work myself and i probably slid for about 20-30 feet thank god the road i was on is pretty wide. on top of it i got a F!@#$%g snow plow was riding my ***. Atleast ur ok, i know it sucks but the car can be fixed.

Regardless, it sucks to hear about your loss. I see people slide off the road every day on my way to and from work. It really makes me wonder why the people who grew up here don't buy snow tires for their cars. Definitely replace your front mount with an aftermarket unit (unless you want to stay stock and buy a used OEM one off of here).

I had my old 240 role back in a ditch (headlights were pointing into the sky) and it landed on some rocks on the side of the incline and it was fine. Thankfully my GF's dad backed into my car right at the rear bumper (only part that got damaged) a few weeks later and had to pay to get it fixed, so it worked out! I pissed off her bastard Dad and he had to fix my car! What more can you ask for!
The undercarriage should be fine though. Just get the body panels replaced and get her back on the road!
