Have few issues, need some Help!!

-- My check engine light keeps comming on and off randomly. I read the code, and it was P0420, which has something to do with exhuast. I lift the car, and I notice the gasket was wrong and was leaking, so I change it this week. Since the first day I got the engine light on, my car would act different when I turn on the heat. The RPMs would drop to about 600 (normaly at 1000) and the voltage would go from 16.5 to 13s and 14s and it would idle at rest. I changed the exhust gasket that is on cat, and that did not help.

-- When I rev the engine up to about 7000, the car moves forward with clutch all the way down, and i mean it ALL the way down, no metter if it's in gear or not. Could it be clutch or transmision problem. I will order Fidanza clutch from Buschur in about month, but should I save the money for transmision maybe.

EGR flow insufficient. You have popped a vacuum hose off of the back of the intake manifold. If you reach around the back under the throttle body, there is what feels like a bov top. Feel for the two nipples and reattach the hose to the nipple without the hose.

Amd stop revving the car to 7000rpms without a load on the motor, unless of course you want to damage your engine.

Fidanza is one of the worst clutches for the Evo. You are on the wrong path.

Spend time reading and doing your homework in the forums.

I was just outside, checking behind the intake manifold, and I found some niples but everything was attached, but I can hear air coming out from somewhere behind manifold.
I saw that little article about Fidanza and I thought it was a good one, but than I noticed a lot of people recommend ACT street clutch if u dont want to do too many mods.

A P0420 is a catalyst efficiency below threshold or some ****. IE - you have a hi flow cat or test pipe. That shouldn't really affect anything though. Just the nusiance of the CEL.

Yeah I think the P0420 has nothing to do with your other stuff. It is just a check from the rear O2 sensor saying your cat isn't function properly. My factory cat is going out and I've had my CEL on for about a week with a P0420. The car actually feels a little faster, but that could be just my imagination. Get an O2 sensor extender, reset battery to fix it.

Actually, yes P0420 is Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1).

P0401 is EGR flow insufficient.
