Any ideas?

Just recently, when I step on the gas up an onramp and get into boost, the RPM will jump up like normal accelerating...then drop about 500 RPMS then blast off like normal again. What's the deal? So quick recap...

Hit the accelerator
Starts to climb through boost to about 4300RPM
Will drop to about 3800RPM's
Then start haulin *** again all the way to 6K+ if I deem necessary

Mods include:
Cams
Alcohol
93Oct
Intake
3" TB
Boost at 26
9 BOV
Perfectly safe tune by Ivey

Any ideas?
Thanks ahead of time!

Guess I figured it was "too easy"...that's why I didn't check for it. I usually overlook the easiest and overthink problems. Thanks ya'll, I'll check when it's lighter/warmer out tomorrow.

Guess it wasnt a boost leak.

Get ready for a noisey ride I have the same set up.

Works great but noisey and after 50k the clutch just started to lock me out at high RPM. Was fine in the begining. Other than that it still grabs 100% just not going into gear at 7.5 - 8k

great thanks...haha...after I already bought it. Well, if I can make a stock clutch last 32K miles, I should be alright with this beast. What kind of noise? I thought only the twin plate chattered.

No not so much chatter. But decel is going to be super audible

No worries though just crank the radio. As for the lockout I cant help you like I said mine was fine forever then just recently no more high rpm shifts for me. I need a 2.4

With your miles it may be more the trans synchros wearing more then the clutch.

Nah tranny shifts like butter. It doesnt grind at all it just locks out at high rpm once the rpm drop a little boom right in. Many have expierienced this issue with the ACT HDSS clutch. Oh well no drag racing this season
