I have the stock keyless entry and yesterday the horn just stopped honking when I lock the doors. The doors still lock but the horn doesnt honk. Anyone else ever experienced this?

 

nope, not yet.... but hope that'll never happen. Might want to check the connection to the horn. Something could be loose.

 

Yes i have. There is a way to disable/enable the horn when locking the doors. It tells you how in your manual. I don't really remember how but I think you hold the lock and unlock button for 3-4 sec.

ask around im sure theres someone with the OEM keyless entry here. i dont even have an EVO so i cant say.. i would if i could. you could just spend a rainy afternoon trying different combinations from your dining room window and hope for the best. if not.. you drive an evo.. why dont you have a 2way ? =p . gl tho
