Add me I'm a vehicle mechanic in the Air Force.

 

I wrench on aircraft but the Evo's more fun, especially the clutch

 

I'll go on that list please how ever I take my car to the work shop cause i don't have the space and all the tools needed and then i jump in to work.

 

yup do all my own work. none of my cars have ever seen a shop.

 

Yeah I know what you mean, It's more of a mentalility at least you have the urge to get in there and get your hands dirty and knuckles bloodied

 

I do not work on my car at all unless its something easy like changing the oil or bov or something

 

I do 99% of the work myself and love it.

 

I will do anything with an engine, anything at all, but transmissions and the like give me the ******

 

I work on cars for a living so of course I do all my own work on my Evo. I did take it to the dealer to get the front calipers replaced under warrenty though.

Awww ish son, somebody got dirty. I plan on putting in that new perrin exhaust (Stealth black and some tarmac 3's I got on monday) then it's the swift springs w/ the MR billsteins and the White Line RCA and lower control arm bushings.

 

39 members so far guys. I just really wanted to start a thread like this just to really find out how many evo guys did their own work. Being on the interent and especially on a forum like this, I tend to take everyone's advice with a grain of salt. Who can you really trust??? How do we know if your really a grease monkey or not???
