i have done everything single thing on my evo including a custom header with external wastegate on stock turbo!!!! yeah i get drty for sure... and LOVE IT!!!!

 

No one can be trusted on my car so I do the work. If u want it done right, do it yourself.

 

im a little late to vote but no one touches the evo except myself. ok well maybe cbrd to do some tuning.

Wonder how many can consider themselves a "competent" mechanic rather than a first time mechanic...I think that might make the list quite a bit shorter...

 

I just got my Evo a few months ago and have done everything myself! I'm currently getting it ready for road racing! Oh and I have installed a supercharged 3800 into my Fiero. I would consider myself a grease monkey!

 

I have done everything on my Evo, sometimes i have a friend of mine that's more experient than supervise me, but again I haven't really done anything too hard on my Evo yet

 

I dont think i can trust anyone with my car besides my b/f and CBRD. I would not let anyone touch it besides them. I think if something would happen with my car, I would turn into a whole different person, and that would not be good!

 

I have lived by this motto like my whole life, from my motor swapped hatchback to this evo. I always do ALL of the work no matter what it is.

Me too! The orange kind though. I have literally done every maintenance/performance mod on my car ever since first owning it last year. I refuse to let anyone else touch it EXCEPT for tuning. Thats my ONLY exception.
