add another , acura tech ,have had my evo for two months and its been in the shop more than its been driven

 

I love working on my car. I usually do it on Saturdays after watching the Powerblock on Spike TV. I have always been of the belief that if you can turn a wrench or a screwdriver then you can do it yourself.

 

Add on more. I mounted a TV on the wall and ran cable to the garage so I don't miss a race.

I do the basic maintenances, fluids, tires. The car is stock, so I have nothing broke. The car is very reliable. If I would need any work, I would take it to my Dealership, they have two of the best certified professional mechanics, name Lucia's and David at Poway Mitsubishi. Noe the service writer is honest and friendly. The facility is new and has the latest in equipment. I like the best work done to my car. Garage's might save me 10-20%, but they may not do the job right.

I just completed a full brake job, in the rain. R2'd lines, new rotors, the works. Bleed them under an umbrella. I do most of my own work and some of my friends work too. F-16 crew chief for 4 years. I think I qualify. Nice thread.

 

im so dirty my g/f won't touch me .... and she's a stripper

 

do all my own work no other way to do it plus i do my own tuning as well

 

I gets down a dirty with the evo all the time. I took about 4 hours cleaning it this weekend in preperation for my AMS FMIC install that I am going to be doing this coming weekend.

 

Clutch, head studs, cams, turbo kit - Ive done everything with the exception of the tune.
