I do what I can comfortably which is mostly anything. If I'm not comfortable whatever it may be myself, I either ask for help, or have it done for me and watch if I can.

Been working on my cars for over 25 years now. I do all my installs on my Evo with the exception of my clutch. My back is finally starting to get to me .

I've been wrenching on cars since my 1st one in 1969. Most of my early cars were beaters and it was either learn to repair or have no car. Since then I've built up several muscle cars, including putting a small block in a Vega by myself in the driveway about 23 years ago. What started as a necessity turned into a hobby, and I still like to do all my own work on my Evo today.

V-8 Vega, nice swap as I remember. Mine was a V-8 Luv truck (283 small block and later a 400 small block). Ah, those were the days....

I work on my my Evo. That includes timing belt job and clutch/transfer case. I just take a long time to finish the job because I tend to lay under the car and wonder for a bit. Also, sometimes I run out of energy so I lay there and gather up some energy for that push that will make everything go together. lols! I'm trying to build my block with some drop in pistons and rods next, in my driveway!

I do everything from Oil Changes to tire swaps/balancing and alignment to my recent engine build. I come from dsm's and still have one. "DSM's have been turning ordinary people into wrench throwing foul mothed mechanincs since 1989" which is coincidentaly the year i was born

well know fact. If you own a mitsubishi that is turbo'ed, you must be required to have either a fat wallet or know how to fix everything on the cheap.

I am of the later crowd
