How much extra whp will i get with JUST adding a catless test pipe w/ a tune.

Ill have intake, forge mbc, walbro 255, dynotune, test pipe (if i get a nice gain here)

A test pipe relieves quite a bit of backpressure from the system. I would estimate all those mods to be a 60whp gain over bone stock, the test pipe accounting for about 10 of that.

good choice on the test pipe. I swore when I bought my evo that i wouldn't do a test pipe.......well that was forgotten quickly

 

heh... Yeah Im looking to keep it pretty quiet. It cant be too too noticable with the stock dp and exhaust correct?

 

make sure you get some sort of exhaust shield on your rear bumper. Its going to turn black.

Even With The Test Pipe It Wont Be That Loud Until You Get On It. I Have; Invida O2 Housing, Invidia Downpipe, Test Pipe, And A Hks Hi Power And It Stays Resonanble Until About 4-5k

Hey One More Thing Make Sure You Get One That Has A Bung That Pulls The Rear O2 Sensor Out Of The Exhaust Stream. If You Dont Want To Do That You Can Use Spark Plug Anti Foulers. Evos Tend To Throw Codes On The Rear O2's.

 

I was looking into the turbo xs or cobb test pipes... Which do you guys prefer?
