I need to know when to replace these HKS Element filters. I am thinking every 10,000 miles but will that be too long? My filter still looks good in shape and i used it for around 2700 miles.

i dunno..but ive heard it crapping out and bits of the filter going into the engine HKS is good but replacing the filter could cost u in the long run..filters are like 2000 to 2500 yen

 

I buy mine in bulk from NOPI. It's somewhat a killer to have to replace the filters but they will last in excess of 3k (like my current one is: little dirt on the outside, and none on the inside). I do however like to change them out whenever I change my oil or soon afterwards.
