Car won't start
I was driving home last night and the temp gauge pegged out, dropped down, pegged out then dropped down. I also have a digital gauge that showed the temp never got over 181. I pulled over popped the hood and nothing was hotter than normal or smelled like anti-freeze. When I tried to pull off the car died and now will not start. Any ideas???

One possibility could have been a loose wire on the sensor, coolant running low (see bottom), or a bad coolant temp sensor, I could see it maybe going into limp mode, but should still start if it were a sensor issue. Try resetting the ECU, checking for any plugs that may have come unplugged (were you messing with anything lately?).
Finally pop the coolant cap, check for oil. Check your oil for a chocolate milk color.

Just for the heck of it, unplug then replug the cam angle sensor back in. Double check anything that may have been removed, etc when those pieces were installed, especially electrical connections on the meth kit. Trace every wire for possible shorts. Popped off IC pipes? Meth nozzle fell out?
