The floormat retainer. It sucks. My floormats always move forward and get in the way of the pedals.

Anyways, my three dislikes:
1. brake dust makes the wheels dirty quick
2. a/c isn't very cold (at least not as much as my beater)
3. crappy Mitsubishi service

1 - cheap interior materials, everything from the crap carpet to the hard to read gauges, and bad plastics controls
2 - brakes squeek
3 - cheap paint - already chipping
4 - color matching between mirrors, doors, handles, etc on the yellow Evo - man I should have gotten Silver
5 - harsh ride for daily driver - love the power and handling, just wish the interior was a bit more comfortable
6 - shifting problems, compared to 6sp RSX the clutch and tranny are just bad, I kind of wish the Evo was a Honda

Yeah the RSX shifter is super silky. Probably the best one I have EVER FELT.
But lets remember ppl, Evo Lancer is a tuner car. It was a cheap car, they slapped a factory turbo and awd to.
But its roots are still cheap car.
Hence the notchy shifter.
But for 28k I think the paint should be better. But that is also normal for a japanese car. They always skimp on paint.
harsh daily ride? It is a sports sedan.
I think you guys are being a bit greedy. I think Sport compact car said it best.
If you want gonna go fast in luxury pay the extra 40k for the m3 ^^

I was driving a friends Evo tonight, and there were 4 of us in the car. Some guy in a G35 decided to do a roll from 60mph. My friend gives me the nod, so I nail it and the G35 basically walked us. Im pretty upset about this, but the severe weight penalty (and the fact he didn't pull too hard)-the sever penalty we had was enough, plus the A/C was on. All in all, we didn't get killed, but it was frustrating when he rolled his window down and gaves us a thumbs down. Real butt hole there, and its just aggravating when an import driver does that just because, well, prolly has a small dick. Oh well.
1. Strange wind noise from the driver side door that couldn't be fixed.
2. Lots of rock chips in the lower C pillar on the driver side between the wheel arch and the rear passenger side door.
3. Transmission/clutch buzzing noise.
4. Bubbles in the rear carbon spoiler.

I just wish the interior had better quality materials and that they would have contracted someone like Infinity or Bose to make a decent audio system for the car. These are very petty though and overall I'm extremely happy with my Evo.
