Car shuts off while drivin NEED HELP

Hey guys I need help and need it bad. My car shuts off while im driving and then cuts right back on . The fuel gauge goes to EMPTY my stereo cuts off and my wideband, defis, and DDS3 cuts off and turns on. I checked my alternator by disconnecting my negative terminal and myy cars still runs fine. I checked fuses and all the grounds I could think of and they were good. Can anybody help? I can say all this started happening after my wideband install.

You have a short or intermittant connection somewhere, check the fuses/relays under the hood, wiring to anything you have modified, wiring to the O2 sensors, etc..

it could be a sensor of some sort....i just had this same thing happen to my gtp and it ended up being the crankshaft sensor and it was telling the ecu to shut the car off, so it could be very similar...so if i was you id start the car try and wiggle around any wires or tap on anything that may be sensored and see if it dies

same thing happened to my sister's golf a few weeks ago.
had to replace the crankshaft position sensor.
car would shut off while driving for no reason at all. then would fire right back up.
