Bumper Plugs

See the below pic. I just got my EVO and it came with several holes in the bumper. I tried searching for plugs but couldn't find anything.

Can anybody recommend what to use to cover these ugly things up? No I don't want a front license plate.

Also why would somebody have five holes on the driver side? I can't figure out any reason...

This is the passenger side. I would like the driver side to look close to this...

Here is a close up. The hole closest to the driver side of the car has nothing in it, the other two on the top row have like a plug rivet type thing in it.

no, there should be three holes.

The big empty hole in the center vertically is an access port to remove bolts holding the front bumper on. It should have a cover like the one on the other side, but the cover just pops on and rather easily at that, so no surprise that it is missing.

You can get a replacement license plate holder from mitsu, it will probably cover said holes.

Or you can get an after market license plate holder from Beatrush

and others.
You will have to get rubber wells or something else to attach it to the bumper.

If you just want to fill the holds, a body shop can probably fill them for you, but don't fill the access hole.

Myself I wish I would have gotten the Beatrush bracket first and then mounted it so that is did not cover the access hole for the bolt holding the bumper on. I have to remove my front license every time I work on the car.

i'd take it to a bodyshop and get the license plate holes filled. i actually did that with mine because i bought it in texas, but in louisiana we don't need the front plate.

Someone said awhile back that some vinyl color is a perfect match for the factory color, or at least close enough. He had circles cut out and put them over the holes with good success. Just an alternative, but personally I'd have a shop fill them.

About how much was it to get them filled and painted? Did they paint the whole bumper?

Has anybody tried this? http://bumperplugs.com/BPindex.html

Also what is the color code for my car? I'm guessing it is "Cool Silver Metallic" code A31?

This is a 2006 IX SSL.

Bumperplugs.com

Ask them if they have a stock colour that'll work for your ride.

See #8 in this thread:

for their response when I asked about a match for GG a ways back...

No paint to match and I don't wanna pay $100 +.

Does anybody have pics of the Beatrush front plate kit on the car? I might just do that...
