The owner of QTP had asked me if I would like to bring my car down for some beta testing for one of their new products. I accepted the offer since my brother has a cutout on his WRX and I liked the quality. I wasn't quite sure what I would be testing since their downpipe cutout already hit the market. I have to say though when I showed up I was quite surprised.

I'm not even sure if the QTP guys mind me posting all this before they release it but I just wanted to show you EvoMers what is in the works:

It's their new O2 dump housing and it's a very high quality piece! Divorced to the atmosphere. Cruising around you won't notice any difference but when you're boosting and the wastegate flapper opens this is loud, like external wastegate loud! This 02 housing fits snug in the engine bay as well with no rubbing. It also fits the stock location downpipe and everything. This product gets the Wizzy stamp of approval..

Pictures and dyno testing printouts to follow. I also got to see some other things they've been working on for the Evo world (like a new test pipe w/ built in cutout) as well as a bunch of other cars.

I dunno which one makes more sense, the EvoPowerMods one or this one...they've flip flopped where the downpipe tube actually goes.

My friend just installed his O2 dump 2 weeks ago. Not the one in the OP's first post but still it is really loud when he boosts above 18psi.

looks good, wonder what the price will be. I would have checked with QTP before posting about it though
