HID Kit, BULB SIZE?

I'm about to buy a HID low beam kit for my Evo, but don't know what bulb size to order.

Its a 2006 IX. It came stock with halogen lights, and I want to upgrade to HID's. I'm going to get an eBay package for like $80, but don't know if I should get H1s, H2s, 9006, 9007, ect.

I did search...it was taking me more time to search than it would of been to just type this so...

Low beams use 9006

I got an ebay kit also. Works wonderfully and has no problems so far. Mounting the ballasts was an issue though. Invest in a relay kit just in case also

Alright thanks everyone. I want my HID's to be bright, but most any temp. will be brighter than stock halogens.

Will the 6k look different (more blue) than the stock MRs? I'm not sure what temp. I want, either 6k or 8k. I'd like my HID to look a little different than stock HIDs though.

What do you suggest?

stock MR's come with 4300K, I'd go with 6000K and they will be more blueish and pretty bright, but not as bright as 4300K. Depends if you want brighter or darker color.

yup... 4300K is the optimal light output. I have 5000K on mine and it's pretty bright with a tiny hint of blue. 6000K might be good for you, 8000K won't give you a lot of light output.

Alright thanks guys. Since the MRs come with 4300K, I'll go 6000k.
