I don't see anyone questioning my credibility on here. I think you should avert your attention over to the X forums, your not going to convince anyone here a X is better than a IX.

Ever
please get me the prove me wrong posts.
I can't recall them.Sorry

And i never said the X is better then a IX EVER.
Fact, for me every evo is equal. Not like for some.

actually, you know what, I have more to say. Even if there was more mods, less mods, I have an example for you. There is a guy up here in the PNW that has a WW IX GSR who had nothing but a cat back and an open cone airfilter and he dynoed at 339awhp. Weird, huh? Not many examples, but makes ya think a bit.

Just so you know, I'm not here to argue, I'm here to knock you off that godamn high horse your on. You may or may not realize but you ARE comming accross like the X is gods gift to the Evo community. If that were the case don't you think we would have all run out and bought one buy now? Hmm, funny, instead of us doing that we have DEALERSHIPS calling us trying and trying to get us to sell our cars back to them because they can't get people to buy a X.

Hmm, THAT right there is some food for thought. I'll let you grab a knife and fork and chew on it.

Great, I'm happy you love your X so much. Go to the X forums and tell everyone here. We are sick of hearing it.

i dont want to turn this this way, but the X makes BONE STOCK 310-315 whp with only tune. Not even a drop in./dynojet/
For more info you can call up SEAN IVEY . He put some dyno sheets up there already.

That is all about numbers i willing to talk.
Anyway. My point was the super rich ting is hurt the X. And that is why slower. You like it or not.
Yes the weight it hurts , not a rocket science.

Same website, differnt forum, this is EVO 1-9 general. I don't bother going into X for a reason.

I have no desire to "back" my numbers up, I have a dyno sheet in my glovebox and I know what was done to my car. Funny thing is, all of those mods+cost of my car=still cheaper than your GSR. damn. It's alright. I'm done reading this thread I have backing to do and no offence, but your grammer is giving me a headache.

Sorry for my english i try.
As the price in NJ the prices are high. Sadly. But anyway. I got my X cheaper then my VIII SSL back in 04. Now my IX RS was cheaper of course, so the X actually is ended up in the middle price range with aero packige.

You should if you make comments on it , unless it is about looks.
AT least then you will not run into this problems. I did not forget my VI VIII IX evo's that is why i look back. But i cant stand the miss leading stuff.
I like the EVO in general that much .

Can someone around this guy please brake his keyboard so he could stop butchering the poor english language.

Even if you had a valid point(although you don't because the X is a downgrade over all previous generations of evos) your poor grammar invalidate whatever you meant to prove.

The Evo is suppose to be a rally bread, road going car that can perform for minimal cost. The original formula(1992) was for Mitsu to take their most performing engine(4g63t) and mate it to their lightest capable chassis(lancer) and go racing for cheap.

Your X do not follow that formula and if it was following one beside "let's try to cut into BMW and Lexus sales since the car had such great succes and maybe some blind die hard fans would bite without noticing"; it would be more like: turbocharging a weak engine and put it on a heavy, filled with cheap luxury, not so great chassis and make suspension electronics do the driving .

You are so full of **** it's funny. weak engine? not so great chassis? WTF are you talking about? It's got a more powerful engine and a stronger chassis.

Suspension electronics? I didn't realize the suspension had electronics. Are you talking about the AYC/ACD/S-AWC? Those aren't suspension pieces. Maybe you should learn the difference before you start making posts. And BTW, your grammar sucks too. So please remove your foot from your mouth and try again.

I can't read all 8 pages of this, but I thought the video was stupid because they had Samuel HubaWTF driving it. He's taking the effing drift line and not the race line and even says, "ohh lets try to drift this thing, oh it just understeers". What an idiot.

If you want to discuss it , you can find me at the usual evo meets edgewater mostly where many LI guys coming out. Since you are living very close to me. So you can break my keyboard . Just look for me as Robevo.
You can prove me wrong there too. And with my english i should have no chance against your wisdom.

Or better yet, you and your supporting crew of X can come as early as tomorow to Nassau coliseum autocross prove to New York Region and Northern NJ SCCA X-Prepared season point leader how much better the X platform is.

I'm sure that with all the power and a much better chassis it should be easy for you to convince me. I'll be pretty much at any auto-x in the region so I should not be hard for you to find and if taking turns is not your league with your better evo let me know when you'll be hitting a dragstrip so I can witness how much faster the X is. Who knows you might end up getting me to trade my obsolete VIII for a more refined X.
