You'll probably need some water, soap, and a bucket.

Do it while the engine is warm as well. That will help the grease come off easier.

The water and the hot Exhaust mani don't have an issue?
Id think not but Iv only have my Evo a lil while and when I washed the car after it was hot water rolled down in the vent and steam came out so I got a lil worried about it cracking and waited for it to cool down before continuing.

I personally dont like to wash my engine with water. I just take 2 hours a roll of bounty paper and armor all. It does the job pretty well.

I never use water in the engine bay. Cover the intake and get some cleaner / polish from a motorcycle dealer.

I have a GSXR-1000 and you can literally spray this stuff on plastic, mirrors, wheels, rims, seats and electronics. It cleans, polishes and repels dirt/grime.

I spray the engine bay and wipe with a microfiber towel.

You can touch up the hoses and lines with wheel detailer for a shine.

i use armoral tripple action wheel cleaner "disolves grease, road grime, and brake dust"

and if you have any really shiny parts, use dever dull in small curcular motions, then take a clean, soft towel, and rub it until it sparkles.

That Honda Pro One is freakin awesome for sure. It works great on plactics and paint. Pledge furniture polish works well too. It leaves a nice shine but doesn't attract dust like Armor-All does..
