lol to be honest you would make more money parting it out. you will not get much as the car does not run and the buyer would have to spend 4k more for another motor then like another 1500 to get it installed with fluids then 250 to retune

well i picked up my 03 evo 8, with 39.9k miles, with a rebuilt title due to theft for 11.8k. all of the parts that were replaced IE hood front bumper, all have vins, and i have the notorized documents for purchase. mine also had some mods done to it, full exhaust, perrin FMIC, apexi intake, O2 housing, and some other stuff.
that should give you an idea though.

I got my 06 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 for 18k after the guy was upside down on payments and had to let her go for how much he owed on the loan to the bank! Originally it was posted on Craig-List for 22k the car also had minor Bolt on's exhaust so fourth and came with an EVO 8 turbo with EVO 8 BOV.. but the deal was to good to pass up. Car also had 18k miles on it.. :-) So for everyone out there keep looking you will find good deals i searched for 5 to 6 months dont jump fast wait for the economy to land you good deals through private sellers.

After another month of searching for an evo, I've finally came across another one that I liked.

2003 Clean Title, Evo 8 w/ 79000 miles, evo 9 turbo, new brembo, new clutch, bbs w/ new tires, some minor bolt-ons; apexi catbck, k&N intake, evo 9 leather seats (front and back), pioneer z3 double din, custom guages, blitz controller, short throw shifter, complete sound system and lowered on tein s tech.

^^^
(I just copied and paste from the email that he sent me.)

Would you pay 13k for it? I need a response as soon as possible! THANKS !

I bought my latest 03 with 61k mi. all stock unmolested clean title for $9900.
I had to do the 60k service ($450) as well as replace the windshield ($220) and tires ($100 USED). I've since put 4k on it and it's a good car. I've added a boost gauge and a used AMS TBE with the cat ($450).

Personally I wouldn't buy ANY TURBO CAR used that's had a boost controller on it.... but if it runs strong... and you like the price... go for it!

Everybody pays less than me, but I'm still happy with my 03 Paid $12k, but turbo back exhaust, UICP, BOV, custom paint, CF Seibon hood, and some other goodies were already done, and at 103k miles compression was better than spec by a fair margin- while doing cams last weekend, discovered that I may have a built block, and my springs and lifters are already upgraded as well. Somebody put a fair amount of work into this engine
