The Evo drives like it's on a train track. I remember the first day I test drove my Evo. Night and day from the car I had. The car just stuck like glue to the road. With some upgrades the 2.0 4G63 will PULL hard and PUSH you back in your seat.

You can only experience this if you drive one...

well one more question.. my friend is not a great driver he ran a 13.6 in the 1/4 and a 8.6 in the 1/8... what do stock 8's run?

 

the last time I heard a stock evo9 ran 12.9 in the 1/4

 

While I'm sure it's been done, it's not the norm. 13.2-13.3 is more like it.

 

Qatar? That's not a deployment, that's a vacation. I'll be over there in about 2 months for R&R.

 

they can go deeper into the 12's than that. i did 12.8 in mine with just a catback...shoulda been 12.6 but i was on cold wet tires (45* no way around the waterbox). so yeah, EVO IX's are 12 second cars. stock 8's are 13.3-13.5 or lower usually. but 05's are good for 13.0-13.3, possibly even high 12's.

 

When I first rode in a evo, it was amazing. Couple months later I bought mine.

 

How does an Evo feel?

Feels awesome, test drive one ASAP

 

Feels like someone put your car in a giant sling shot and launches you wherever you're facing.

 

Feels like a Honda, but it goes and handles.
