How does an evo feel?

The Evo feels like everything a serious road going car should be. When you hear the turbo screaming, the exhaust wailing and your grabbing the next higher gear as the wind whips through the car at tripple digit speeds, you'll know what I mean.
I try so hard every day before I get into my car to convice myself that I will drive my car like a responceable human and not a total nut on the road. Never last long because as soon as I get in her and turn the key she reminds me that they are one and the same in the Evo.
It is impossible not to love this car once you have driven it.

ive owned an 1.8T and still have it... The EVO will blow your mind away just like it did too me back in 06, i said to myself what the hell was i doing in a jetta when i can drive an EVO!! haahhhaha i keep my jetta for back-up cuz my evo was down for 7months due to money and waiting for HEAD BUILD soo keeping an extra car will benefit one way or another, but now that my EVO is fixed i cant be more happier EVO>ANYTHING aalll day!!!

you can go get a tune or mail order one but i would suggest where ever you are to find a local awd shop and take it there. put that bad boy on the dyno. also set like a $1000 aside for a new clutch

One of my friends has an '05 sti, and we have almost identical power numbers. He has a little more tq and I have a little more hp. He came along for a ride with me one night and I was driving it pretty hard, and after the first pull I made he just looked at me and said "you'd kill the sti"
, but I'm in the Marine Corps.
