My evo has full bolt ons, pump, and custom tune for 21psi. I haven't done anything else to the car in over a year. So now I wanna use a 75 shot nitrious. Do I have to get a retune? Or would it be ok to run the 75 shot with my current setup?

 

im pretty sure you will have to add fuel and maybe retard ignition but not completely sure. ask in the engine forum. good luck

 

i havent heard of any evos running nitrous. why did u decide on nitrous vs. something like meth?

 

evos run nitrous all the time....

id go with meth or alky over nitrous tho

 

Be sure to get a wet kit unless you are going to retune specifically for the Nitrous to add more fuel. I know a local evo around town that ran a wet 50 shot with no problem(with race gas), but usually if you run anything over a 50 you should adjust your timing/tune accordingly. I would start with a smaller shot and work my way up if you are just learning nitrous.

 

I wanna use the nitrous b/c i'm getting a kit from a friend for free. So a wet 50 shot would be good enough? It's not something i'm gonna be using on a daily basis.
