Red face possible to drive n/a ?

My car is my DD and i had someone try and steal my fmic,

The top mounting bracket for my fmic got sheared off and now there is no support for it. I found some product to bond the support bracket untill i can get another one, but the bolts are missing.. therefor the fmic is unable to support itself..

Is it possible to disconnect the maf or relocate it to the upper intercooler pipe to run n/a? I just need to run about 5 miles away to get proper fitting bolts..

doh

Stealing an IC seems way more of a hassle than it would be worth...? The easiest way would be to literally cut the bumper right off and even that wouldn't exactly be easy. Where the hell do you park your car?

no sir... the easiest way to remove the front bumper would be to attatch a chain to the bumper fascia and rip it off with a truck.

It will run with the maf right be for the intake mani. I just wouldn't go more than 10% throttle or so. It will actually run without the maf for what its worth. As long as the electronics are hooked up.

get a ride from a friend to the parts store. or ride a bicycle. If you don't have one, take your neighbor's.

Drive the evo off a cliff then go to the edge and look at the aftermath. Follow up with a Michael Phelps nosedive right onto the car and everything will be A okay!

mine runs fine n.a but i have blow thru. i hit something in the road and riped off my licp and i couldnt find it and i went about 40 miles n.a. just dont rev it or you ur turbo will be spinning its *** off. with stock maf i think the only think you could do is find a way to hook up your maf to your uicp and it should run. we did that on my buddies gst when his turbo gave out. it ran fine. you wont have any power put it will at least get you the few miles you have to go.
