How Much Power Can I Expect?

Hey all

Sorry for another of these threads, but I've been planning some major work to finally be done to my Evo IX.. I'm going to end up spending a considerable amount of money so I think it's fair to set some standards and expectations.. A lot of different people say different things, so I want to get a general consensus
about things.

Anyway, here is the list of mods, and I will be getting tuned by AMS.
2006 Evolution IX
K&N Cone Style Filter
Halman MBC
Tanabe Downpipe
Perrin Test Pipe
Tanabe Medalion Touring
GCS S1's
ARP Head studs
Megan O2 Housing
AMS Front Mount and Lower IC Piping
and a good ol AMS tune =]

I was hoping for around or more than 350 to the wheels but talking to AMS they said I should expect around 320 or 330. What do you guys think?

Also I've been looking for some sort of 2 din conversion hvac.. I tried orbital but it looks like they are out of production.. Anyone have any suggestions to help out?
Thanks all =]

Depending on what kind of dyno, if its a dynojet you will push more than 350.

you need to add meth to your list. hellcat made almost 380whp on a mustang dyno with a without o2 housing and i think he might still be on stock cat. if you do meth at the same time your doing everything else you wont have to pay for another tune...i wish i would have put a meth kit on my car form the get go...FWIW

Look at the mods in my signature and the power level. 341awhp 320tq on a Mustang AWD dyno.

you should expect just what AMS says.. but what you should really expect around 300 that way when u hit higher numbers your suprised instead of expecting high numbers and hitting lower then being upset

Haha thanks for the input guys. I'm just trying to make sure I can have a reasonable expectation for what I'm paying for

It's definitely a reasonable expectation. If you have yet to be tuned it's going to feel like a whole new beast. I picked up 60awhp and 80tq of my mods and a good tune.

This should give you a good idea of what to expect with the mods you are getting: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=365923
