same thing happened to my 03, its not broken yet but is a pita to turn, just for the a/c one...but the middle and right work fine = P darn...cheap rubber plastic material from mitsu haha.

I ordered the parts in the video and did everything the video said to do but this did not fix my problem. My problem must be inside the box, Im willing to bet the gears on the inside of the blower box are super gummed up. Im not taking my dash apart to fix that so I guess I will just reach under the dash and push the arms twice a year. :shrug:

Hope these parts help somebody else!

**** hvac problems on evo's.

Just keep your fingers crossed you never have to replace a heater core. Its a biiiiiii

It's becoming unbearably cold in Nebraska. I actually just bought my Evo VIII...the heater knob is broken. I'm struggling... Power mods...heat...power...heat...
