replaced floor mats, it was time.

 

Me too. And, for the first time got the black ones. The gray didn't show dirt, the black shows everything.

 

Changed the oil / filter

 

removed my cobb stage 3

 

 

Finally got rid of the ugly exhaust tip that stuck out like 4" past the bumper.



The new one looks better but because of how RRE welded the rear hanger, I couldnt push it in as far as I would have liked.

 

Received my awesome air freshener. Got to have that JDM Squash smell in my new Evo X I just picked up.

 

I absolutely love driving the Evo X everyday as the power delivering is so linear. Just recently I ran into a problem as the car started to misfire when I just got back from pumping gas. I thought it was bad gas but to find out it was my spark plugs needed to be changed.



What scared me is the tip on one of them snapped. I Bore scoped it and it's not where to be found.

 

Thats not a broken off tip, its melted off. Look at the porcelain, its half the size of the others too. You have something bad going on in there. Its going lean/detonating in that one cylinder for some reason.

 

 

Is it ok to use aircraft remover on the valve cover rather than sand blasting it before powder coat. Don't really want to remove the baffles
