I AutoXed it. Hit up WSIR a couple weeks ago. I have monthly events scheduled. Possibly hosting one of my own. This year is gonna end with a lot of seat time. Stoked. Not so much what I did TO my Eve as WITH.
Sold it and purchased a brand new IS350 F-Sport AWD. Decided I want to take a break from the high performance lifestyle and transition into Luxury. So far, I love the switch but the Evo’s will always have a place in my heart.
I will probably own another at some point in the future.
Do you miss it at all after a month? Evo to a Lexus really is going from wild to mild.
I bought these way too late. Too many track-day fixes took care of my pinch welds I did buy a specialty set for one of my other cars, though. They require a special set because the bottom of the car is pretty much flat aluminum. They are like this, but rubber. I recommend pucks/pads for all cars, from now on and will always have them. My poor Evo is DONE LOL

I cut a small piece of 2x4 and then cut a slit into it with a saw. Has worked very well for me over the years and can be easily reproduced. SAVE THE PINCH WELDS!
