Hadn't crossed my mind, but could be open to doing it. I am also making myself a Ralliart style one, but it is not done yet. I will need to finish the surface and get grip tape put on. The top and bottom holes match on both sets so I can interchange them without needing to make more holes in the dead pedal. This one is more expensive because it is CNC'd stainless steel.

My new ignition setup being the bracket for the new valve cover looked like *** and hit the hood. So this is what my engine bay looks like now. All I have to do is fix the ac line the shop put in wrong when they redid my ac. Then i will see if my strut tower bar fits and it should be done for now. Oh I still need to ceramic coat my down pipe or the new downpipe if I ever make it.

It works actually very well. Its vented below the lines. That silver area is like a mesh that as it enters through the line it goes through baffles at the bottom and vents through it I think on the top. I Haven't taken it apart to actually see how it works but its similar to that. It is a Vibrant catch can.

Attempt 2

Second attempt of trying to get the press-in 10AN fitting to stay. Let’s hope sanding and hi temp jb weld epoxy does the trick.

one of the many reasons I dont use AN fittings and hoses for low pressure applications.

Lol why I got rid of the stock valve cover and went with orb fittings. Much easier and they stay in lol

as long as youre not getting any milky oil especially under the cap then *maybe* its pointless. many people on the FB Evo forum say "its normal, just change oil often". lol thats just dumb and/or they dont really drive their cars

Honestly I get more water in there then oil. I get very very little oil in the catch can even when the car made 1208 wheel. I mean I took all extra measures to ensure I had the best coatings to help the car live a long life with this engine. I mean yeah I just put main and rod bearings in the car but i know I over spun it a few times being my old tuner didn't give me a rev limiter and then locked the tune so I couldn't fix that. But yeah new bearings in and not much beating on it yet but still sends oil into the catch can on 85 and still no oil or anything on pump.

I meant oil filler cap. water vapors rise and would condense inside the VC and under the baffles, which would drip onto your cam lobes. I had a cam lobe that got grounded down way back before I solved the issue. this is why I make sure I let the pcv do its job. Water can also condense inside those long hoses when the air cools down
