Installed a CF intake box from RPG Carbon which is a copy of the HKS Kansai box. Quality was great but had to modify a few things to get it to fit as I suspected from old posts. Mainly relocating the SRS airbag sensor and cutting a slot for the radiator fan shroud bracket. Also used a naca duct to route even more fresh air to the bottom of the filter.

I wanna do something like this and have it lead up to my turbo. Being I relocated my acd to the trunk I have all that room. I wanted to do this to like an airbox, then have it go from the air type box to the turbo.

It's pretty easy. Just have to remove the front bumper. Bought zip ties, double sided tape, and 2 pieces to make it work: NACA duct Flexible duct

Nice thanks for the links I will have to look into it
Awesome, mine just arrived on friday hope to get it done this weekend.
I’ve been busy this past week finally getting off the oem ecu.
Finally got my S3 and UC-10 installed, along with dbw.
Did you go with an off the shelf kit for the DBW or did you piece it together? I have been going back and forth on if this is the next thing for my car at some point. Haltech PnP with a DBW setup or not and would love some feedback on it.

I got the evospec billet pedal mount and his quick disconnect harness, along with the outsider garage TB adapter, and TB to IC adapter. 82mm bosch and evo x pedal, was dead simple to setup. OSG sells plenty of adapters no matter which manifold you have (if you have the magnus just order his ford one) and has options for silicon coupler or vanjen to connect your IC piping to the tb. Magnus also sells these but only in raw aluminium, OSG has anodised options.
As far as the Haltech, it has been amazing seeing everything like sensor voltages etc., in real time, it's so easy to figure out most problems so far. I def recommend the PnP to start off with before going with something like an ohm-harness, get it all dialed, figure out what you want to change in the future (e.g. more/better sensors), then go down that rabbit hole. For a daily/street driver I'd also highly recommend the uc-10 over the ic-7, on top of the screen real estate, it has backup camera functionality built into it, which again Haltech made brain dead easy to setup, plug 3 wires into it, and tap the reverse light switch.
I do not think I could recommend the elite series anymore, at the price point of the s3 it just doesn't make any sense, imo.

Appreciate the feedback man! I'll probably keep looking and not buying lol. I keep hoping a used elite will pop up at a price I can't say no to.
My car is just a street car with the factory ECU but the idle air control of a DBW system keeps me looking to get the AC working better and everything.

I'm not sure if thats necessary or even beneficial unless the belly cover is missing. on mine the fender liner already ramps up all the air coming thru the airdam. I just needed to block the frame side
