Finally got JDM HIDs and fog lights wired up using the OEM switches in the RS, had to convert from halogen/non-fog. Things that I don't have and am unwillingly to fix are no fog lamp light on dashboard and HID leveling. Would need to pass wires through the firewall and I can't be bothered lol.

I read the JDM headlight is for RHD roads. That's why I bought the EDM

You are correct, but I wanted the flat black housing and there is no EDM flat black housing headlight, only chrome or black chrome. If it were an option, I would have absolutely done it. I have a set of EDM RS headlights as well, but they are halogen. I have set up my car so that I can quickly switch between USDM (4 pin lights) and EDM (8 pin lights) and JDM (8 pin lights). I went DEEP into this rabbit hole lol. Basically, if you want anything other than the flat black housing, you should be buying EDM lights and not JDM for the light pattern. I have considered a conversion, but given I rarely drive at night, I will just let it be.

If the reviews are good I don’t see why not. It needs to be two tone though to account for the bottom middle portion of the bumper. Luckily the bumper tow hitch cover comes painted so they can paint match to that unless you know what the paint code is.

Let's just say I have considered all options haha, but wanted to stick with an 8 light for the 8. The two lights pictured are EDM halogens (chrome and black chrome). So did you convert the EDM halogen or did you buy HID EDM? I should probably sell what I am not using... but the chrome EDM halogens were pretty hard to source.

The chrome black do look good, and if I had a 9 like you, I would use them too.

nice side by side. i think the black chrome looks good on ya
i just have cheapo 9005(?) HID kits. they lasts forever, plus I sometimes find myself in desolate places and farm lands so I need something powerful. I have LED for high beams.. theyre kinda so-so but white, but also quite useless

Hello. What kit did you use to go to 100w? Did you have to change the ballasts?

I am on stock ballasts, ask ViciousLSD as he is the one who is on 100W HIDs.

I just have this stuff
https://www.ebay.com/itm/394868585182?var=663434040415

the EDM i think uses H1 bulbs, not sure but it needs to be drilled to fit this type of HID bulbs. I already had a 9006 set from my old headlights so I just made it work. I might put another pair on the highbeams so I 'm ready when i need it

New CF wheel

Installed a new carbon fiber steering wheel from zencarbonfiber.

We need to get a moderator to rename this post to remove the year and to make it a sticky post. 😀
