This is good to know. My LR door been sticking lately.
Picked up a clean set of SSL front seats. Been looking for a solid 5 years and had to jump on a local sale.
I am not sure that the rear doors are the same setup. I would assume they are but be sure to take a look around the forum to verify before ordering the motor and planning the fix I posted.

Did you refer to this thread at all? just found it
I didn't reference this thread at all. I just took a look at the one I linked, ordered the motor and dug in. This isn't my first time tearing apart doors and door latches so I just went in assuming I would figure it out once I got my hands on it.
That thread does give a decent look inside the doors though.
Thanks for asking Kevin. I was able to source all the OEM parts except the front bumper but Epsilon has a very good quality replica which I only had to do some sanding to, and the paint shop filled several low spots. Insurance company wrote it up as a salvage not due to safety but for total cost of damage. Because I was able to source the parts myself and do some of the work, I actually came out $3000 ahead after the payout. I don't plan on ever selling my Evo (I'm the original owner) so I don't care that the carfax will show salvage. The shop didn't do a great job with fit and finish so I spent probably 40 hours making it all right after getting it back, but it is "almost" good as new. In another month I will get the front clip PPF wrapped and ceramic coated.
Beautiful car man I get goosebumps every time I see a different angle takes me back to the golden tuner age. Mad respect for keeping it the 8 bumper. I hate when people put 9 seats or bumper on an 8 and the other way around.

Thanks. I prefer the OG look with a modern twist and nothing too over the top. I was glad I could still get the OEM hood. As of March there were only 8 left in the country and they only ship to dealers so it was a 3hr drive to pick it up.

Me too, getting my og 17x9 gram lights redone in chrome. Love the classic look. Its got to be period correct looking with the proper modern accommodations. Also that's lucky..I was thinking the hoods will be discontinued any day. Many more parts to be which is why I'm stocking up.
Honestly with import fees kinda spendy but the set came with the trunk liner, fitment is pretty good, se how they settle in.
Anyway, got some weather floorliners. Rear, gotta clean better but it's pouring rain right now. Maybe a lil squeaky, not sure yet but my work boots were. This is what convinced me to hit go.
