Quote: was that Les's car? LOVE that thing.
it was originally Les's car. Les bought my 996 Turbo with the Switzer 700 kit on it and i took his evo on trade.

Quote: it only has 4500 miles on it!...it has to be a 03-05 it must have never driven it...

ye, it spent all its life in the shop and on the dyno, redlining and such... it may have only 4500miles, but those miles were "so hard earned", i bet its like 45,000 of normal street use...
i know the 4g63 is tough, but, how reliable can this one be now for DD, or just regular use ?

i guess we will just have to find out and see. i plan to dd this car so i will keep you informed on reliability. the bottom end was just rebuilt and the turbos are new too.

doing dyno pulls does not put stress on the motor nearly as much as redlining on the street.

i have had a car do 79 pulls on a dyno within 3 days after a engine build. when we dropped the oil pan to look at the wear on the rod and crank bearings, not even a sratch on them. thats with a 1500rwhp car.
