bump, updated dzus info for people that don't want to search as hard as I did to figure out what size to get

 

So I've got this underpanel installed. Just took off the rear part to change the oil as I ran a track event the other weekend with it.

Found it it's rubbing on my downpipe. It rubbed hard enough to rub through the heatwrap I put on it and scratched the downpipe itself. I run a 3" Buschur DP. Anyone else have this issue and a fix?

My Buschur DP also rubs on the Beatrush underpanel. It's actually starting to burn a hole into it. I could just use my Dremel and cut a slot into the underpanel for a fix.

Is the contact that bad to necessitate cutting?

Maybe mark where it touches, lay the panel flat on a concave surface, and hammer the plate down to put a slight pocket in it? Or is the contact that big of an issue?

I was planning on one of these at some point. But I'm another 05 with a Buschur 3" DP. I'd hate to pick one up just to wreck it.
