Evo in SNOW :)
^ before the Evo, my DD was a G35 coupe, but had allseasons. it performed above expecations, in the same light snow or slippery roads that made me say my final prayers in the Evo. the awd did absolutely nothing in terms of pulling out from a stop, or accelerating even to 15mph. Evo only went sideways, with the tail always pulling out, no matter how gently i tried to slip the clutch...
btw, did any of you swap rubber onto the Oem BBS wheels ? or u all just get a second set of wheels for the winter ?? cause i know what would happen to my polished BBS's - the tire shop will ruin the rim and scratch off the polish while putting on the winter tires!

not sure why i still post this pic every year if i see people posting theirs, i love this pic, nothing special about it. I just convert my car for winter time, I put my rs in snow mode, no abs, raliart mudflaps
snow tires on stock wheels ftw!
whenever it snows i just smile.

I been having a blast with my evo in the snow. My cousin ('05 STi) and me have been "rallying" our cars for the past 3 days lol till about midnight each night. Tuesday night we got about 27cm of snow and last night we got another 18-19cm or so of snow. This is in Montreal btw. When im driving around normal I leave it in snow mode but if im screwing around I put it in tarmac mode.
With snow the traction control is more aggressive and the ACD wont engage as harsh if you get off the clutch quickly (help against wheel spin) If you were in tarmac mode it would engage normally and you would probably spin your wheels leaving from a stop when you wouldn't want to. So when im screwing around (in tarmac) im pretty much telling the car its a normal day with no snow or anything, but im on snow instead, and it doesn't interfere as much so its a little more willing to get thrown around etc.

we've been getting our first snow too this year, we got about 5-6inches between yesterday and today, and even on super bald snow tires it still handles way better than i thought it would, the tires truely do make your experience more enjoyable, i hate snow but this year so far i'm loving it but i do need new tires, so if anybody wants to help a broke college student out sell me your old ones for dirt cheap! lol
