Is it really possible for an Evo to be a sleeper?

I was just curious. Some times I run into people that don't know what the car is. Since I own an Evo, I am not convinced that it can ever really be a good sleeper. What do you say?

yes and no i would say, everyone knows the car is fast but a 600hp evo sitting next to a 350hp evo, you cant tell the difference without the hood open

Sleeper to a kid in a Civic hatch with a d16, no, never. Sleeper to a guy in a modded domestic or european supercar, of course. It depends

Depends where you live. Most people think i have a "tricked out" civic. That and they wonder why my hood and trunk are black when my car is white. (Carbon fiber) As soon as I lost the spoiler, nobody knows what I drive, even though it says Evolution VIII on it.

i felt really bad when the guy at the BJ's tire center said i should take the wing off and make it a sleeper and i laughed in his face....i was visiting a friend that works in the tire bay and when he said it to me I was like ??????.....now that iv really thought about it its probably possible but unless your trying to hustle why not just keep upgrading and smoke porches and higher end cars? just too nice of a car to be made into a sleeper IMO

A silver VIII, wingless.. totally stock exterior with stock suspension and wheels... almost looks like a lancer

or go all out and put a lancer wing on it...

Once in awhile I go wingless and don't really find people try to mess with me. Not that I want them to. I do it especially when I'm going to bigger cities where there's high chance of theft and vandalism.

I used to have a bright red (wingless) RS and hardly anyone noticed me. In my GG wing'd SE I get attention everywhere.

Ew, I understand a sleeper evo but why would you want to make your car look like a lancer?

well it depends, cuz i saw an evo VIII for sale online that supposettly came stock with the lancer wing. wouldn't want that thing on there anyways, lol

and ppl that kinda know evo's that don't drive one know that they'rea fast, but have really no idea how fast, so yeah if you have a full powered fp red, even when you pop the hood it'll look like you just upgraded the ic and piping and the exhaust and intake
