Let's all keep the peace and start the new year off right. Joking.... anyways you can't go wrong with either car. MR'S, SE'S, and all the regular are all great. Respect the car it will respect you back.
Really, who can possibly tell you which car you'd prefer? You drove both; what's left?
BTW, the MR is the most common IX, it's the second heaviest IX, and it mostly consists of a cosmetic package - the drivetrain on all IXs is the same, save the MR's 6-speed that has issues and offers no real advantage over the 5-speed. If you'd like to buy an Evo, do some legwork and see what each model designation is about.

You're coming onto the Evo forum and you're asking which is better between an Evo and a C6. More people are gonna favor the Evo on here, and more guys are gonna favor the C6 on the corvette forum.
First of all, why would you buy a car based on others opinion? What if 2 - 3 months down the road you regret and thought that you should had bought the other instead? Are you gonna blame those who's given you the suggestion?
Just buy what you like and call it a day. That way you'll have no regrets. Also, just because you buy a C6 or another vehicles doesn't mean that you can't be a part of the EvoM forum.

Thats also why I love my debadged trunk. People just assume its a "regular" evo and only the half-*** knowledgeable people will know its an MR by my gray bbs or whatever.
i never tell people i have an MR, cause then they ask whats the difference and i never feel like going down the list. if someone ever asks me whats the difference between the 2, i just say the wheels are different. lol
first of all guys this OP is a walking contradiction in himself...he's been making posts about how he's test driven an Evo MR and said he was disappointed

and there was also another post somewhere of him asking this same question but between a 350Z and an Evo....
honestly OP to keep this on topic, if you're gonna go through all this trouble you might as well take one or the other, cuz it seems to me like you cant decide for yourself . personally i would have both if possible, but if i had to choose...i'd pick the Evo, more practicality for a DD than a 2 seater since i DD my Evo. but these are cars that IMO, should be in the hands of an owner who knows their stuff about cars. as in those quoted statements he has no knowledge what-so-ever

now im buyin 1 and have my eyes set on a evo 9 mr grey for 23000 with 25000 miles on it.. what yall think good deal? im sure with economy trouble i can lower to like 21 or so... u think i should do this deal

a guy in a parking lot who saw my evo once started being stupid and shouting for some reason "Evo MR man!..thats an MR" .........sure the badge is red...but it says SE ^_^...and he's like...whats the difference? its probably more power and **** right?!?!?
