Like most people say..... Cheap Tint films. Get it done profesionally and you'll get quality tint films that will not turn purple.

Thanks guys. It just sucks that i payed professional price and got s**t tint! I just drove down from Cleveland to Naples Florida and got GREAT pro tint down there from a dealer that specializes in high end exotics. So if this turns purple.... then stay out of ohio! our sun sucks! (jk!)

bad tint

My boyfriend tinted my car. He got the tint from Ebay. He did an awesome job and it hasnt turned purple. When tint turns purple its usually the owners fault rather than the tint itself. Windex and other chemicals cause the purple to occur. If you get it professionally done itll also cost alot more than if you do it yourself. They charge you more because of the labor. The tint itself is just as much as it is on ebay!

Just ask for any tint that is metallized film. The purple is from dyed films. Over time they just happen to fade. I would stay away from ebay tint....also tinting windows isnt as easy as it seems.....first few days when the film is still moist, it'll seem fine but once it cures...you'll have white bubble dots due to dirt and dust.

Simple solution.

you got cheap tint sir..........sitting in the sun or using windex will not do this in that short of a time unless you got absolutly junk tint

im a professinal tinter and car detailer......and i use windex and invisable glass on my windows and mines still perfect , darker then night, and i tinted my evo a year and a half ago. And BTW i only tint cars with Llumar films....like the other tinter who posted in hear said....alot of shops buy cheap tint because they dont want to spend the loot on good film....i on the other hand buy the best.

UV rays did this because you got cheap tint. End of story.

i'm not a big fan of window tinting...i'm sure tint is better than it used to be but all the tint i have seen eventually starts to bubble or turn color over the years..even the good tint...a better option would be to buy tinted glass...but that would be really expensive
