Who's Gonna Keep Their EVO Forever?
I bought mine new in Oct 04. Paid off next month. Now at 85k miles.
I'll sell it about the time my son turns 16, unless he can show me some maturity.
4.5 years to that decision...
Happy driving,
Jerry

every morning when i leave my house i go thru the garage, i always stop and stare, i cant believe that this car is mine. i say to myself that im so lucky to be the owner of this great car.
Just recently joined the owner group. 2 weeks of owning this amazing machine and I love every minute of it. I will get rid of it when the miles run too far up, but the only way I'm getting rid of it is trading for another one
.
.
Im just like you, i went through cars every 6-12 months...the EVO is alot more fun an useful then all my other cars...my only problem now is my girlfriend doesn't know how to drive manual...and i don't think i'm going to teach her in the evo haha...so i might end up selling this car soon..)=
Put money down on mine about six months before they hit US soil... I'll let it go, when it's ceases to put a smile on my face, or at least better my day every time I get into it. The Evo is my "therapy". Crappy day always gets better when I get behind the wheel. It's one of my few "happy places".
i would have loved to keep mine forever, situation was as such i had to sell my baby couple of weeks ago due to relocating abroad, however got my eyes on another 8 shall be a proud evo owner in the next week or so.
They are addictive, i cant think of any other car that i want to buy other than another evo, test driven all sorts of $60k plus cars and none of them have **** on a nicely tuned evo.
