I am currently on my second Evo. I sold my first one because I decided I wanted to buy a luxury car (Lexus IS250) and after 2 months I was so mad at myself it was ridiculous. Well last January I bought a 9 and I plan on keeping that thing FOREVER!!!! And hopefully I can add another Evo or 2 to my stable as the new ones come out, but none will ever replace the 4G63!

looks like i'll be selling mind.
the air force is pcsing me to japan and since they have wierd insurance laws, people just buys new cars all the time. added to a relatively cheaper japanese car in japan.... i'm gonna be looking for a skyline, bringing it through alaska or canada to bypass cali aaaaaaaaaaaaand drive happy.

Being my second purchased car I might as well pay it off to say that I did it, and then I'd like to hang on to it so my son can enjoy it. Maybe it will blow up someday and I'll keep it like that for him to fix on his own.

I'm in the same boat.. I've owned cars such as an 06' Sti, 95' Supra TT, 500WHP civics, 86' Grand national... the list goes on and on (31 cars to be exact). My Evo is the only car i've ever kept for more than two years and I could never imagine parting with it.

I want to keep mine forever, but in life people move, things come up, start families, etc. So it's impossible to say if someone can really keep their evo forever.

I've had mine for 7 years now and still like everything about it and have not ever had any thoughts of getting rid of mine at all

unless some jackass hits me and totals my evo, or some misfortune happens and i end up totaling it myself (knock on wood) they may as well start digging a grave big enough for my evo cause ill be buried in it.

This EVO was a game changer, I've owned 2 Supra's, Datsun Z's, etc. etc. There is no doubt I'm keeping my 9 RS, its been the funnest car I've owned!!
